Vandaag weer een interessante serie tweets over een Christen uit Libanon
I was on a trip in Houston today & had the pleasure of striking up a conversation with a Lebanese man who had been in the U.S. for 5 years.
The man was telling me about his wife & children who are still stuck in Lebabon & fear for their lives because they practice Christianity.
He went on to say that out of all the countries in the Middle East, Israel was the only one where people of every faith can worship freely.
This man practiced Christianity in secret, always fearing for his life. Even his close Muslim friends didn’t know about his Christian faith.
When people say that Israel is a racist apartheid state they should talk to Samir in Houston who’s brother fled to Israel from Lebanon.
I asked Samir what he thought of the Palestinian “cause” & he told me that they’re used as pawns by the Muslim world to attack Israel.
He also said that every country which signed a treaty with Israel has enjoyed lasting peace. Peace is there if the Palestinians wanted it.
